Guiseley Sounds - Terms & Conditions
These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) apply to all tickets sold for Guiseley Sounds (“the Event”) and to all persons attending the Event. By purchasing a ticket and/or attending the Event, you agree to comply with these Terms.
“Event Organiser”, “we”, “us” or “our” refers to Guiseley Sounds.
“You” or “the attendee” refers to any ticket holder or person entering the festival site.
- Tickets
1.1 All tickets are sold subject to these Terms & Conditions and any conditions on the ticketing platform.
1.2 A valid ticket must be produced to enter the Event. The Event Organiser reserves the right to refuse admission.
1.3 Tickets cannot be used as competition prizes or promotional giveaways without written permission from the Event Organiser.
1.4 Ticket duplication, forgery or resale via unauthorised channels may result in refusal of entry.
1.5 All attendees must exchange their ticket for a wristband on arrival. Wristbands must be worn at all times.
1.6 Lost, removed or tampered wristbands cannot be replaced and may result in removal from site.
- Refunds & Postponements
2.1 Tickets are non-refundable except if the Event is fully cancelled.
2.2 In the case of cancellation, attendees will receive a refund of the ticket face value (booking/transaction fees are non-refundable).
2.3 If the Event is postponed or rescheduled, tickets will automatically remain valid for the new date.
2.4 Changes to the artist line-up do not qualify for refunds.
2.5 Refunds are not available for personal circumstances such as illness, work commitments, travel disruption or weather conditions.
- Entry Conditions
3.1 Entry is at the discretion of the Event Organiser and security staff.
3.2 The Event is family-friendly. Under-16s must be accompanied by an adult aged 18+.
3.3 Valid ID is required for age-restricted purchases (Challenge 25 applies).
3.4 The Event operates a no re-entry policy, except for approved medical reasons. Medical wristbands are issued at gate discretion.
3.5 All bags will be searched. Bag size restrictions may apply.
3.6 The following are prohibited:
- Glass of any kind
- Fireworks, flares, smoke bombs
- Weapons or potentially dangerous objects
- Drones
- Professional camera/recording equipment unless approved
- Alcohol, food or drink brought from outside the Event
- Illegal substances
3.7 Anyone found with prohibited items may be refused entry or removed from site.
- Behaviour & Conduct
4.1 Anti-social, abusive, threatening or unsafe behaviour will not be tolerated.
4.2 Anyone failing to comply with staff or security may be removed without refund.
4.3 The Event operates a zero-tolerance policy to illegal drugs.
4.4 Dangerous behaviour, crowd surfing, climbing structures or entering restricted areas is strictly prohibited.
- Searches
5.1 As a condition of entry, you agree to be searched by security, including bag searches, metal detector scans and pat-downs.
5.2 Refusal to be searched may result in denial of entry without refund.
- Alcohol & Food
6.1 No alcohol, food or drink may be brought into the Event unless for approved medical or dietary reasons.
6.2 The Event operates a Challenge 25 policy. ID may be required at all bars.
6.3 Drunken or disorderly behaviour may result in refusal of service or removal from site.
- Photography & Filming
7.1 The Event may be filmed and photographed for promotional use.
7.2 By attending, you give consent to be included in photography and filmed content.
7.3 If you have concerns, please speak to the Info/Welfare team.
- Safety & Welfare
8.1 Please follow all signage, instructions and guidance from staff.
8.2 In the event of an emergency, attendees must follow official announcements and evacuation procedures.
8.3 No animals are permitted, except registered assistance dogs.
8.4 First aid and medical support will be available on site.
- Travel, Parking & Transport
9.1 Attendees are encouraged to use public transport, especially Guiseley Train Station (Leeds – Ilkley line).
9.2 Parking is limited. Please avoid travelling by car where possible to reduce congestion and respect local residents.
9.3 Vehicles parked in unauthorised areas may be ticketed or removed at the owner’s expense.
9.4 The Event Organiser is not responsible for loss, theft or damage to vehicles or property.
- Liability
10.1 Attendees enter the Event at their own risk.
10.2 The Event Organiser is not liable for:
- Personal injury (unless caused by negligence)
- Loss or damage to personal items
- Consequential losses (e.g., travel, accommodation)
10.3 The Event Organiser may make changes at any time for safety or operational reasons.
- Event Changes
11.1 The Event Organiser reserves the right to:
- Alter the schedule, timings or line-up
- Make safety-related amendments
- Temporarily pause performances due to weather or emergencies
11.2 These changes do not qualify for refunds unless the Event is fully cancelled.
- Refusal of Admission
12.1 The Event Organiser reserves the right to refuse admission or remove any attendee for:
- Breaching these Terms
- Being intoxicated
- Possession of prohibited items
- Behaviour deemed unsafe or inappropriate
- Data Protection
13.1 All personal data is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and UK GDPR regulations.
13.2 By purchasing tickets, you agree to the processing of your data for event operations.
- Acceptance of Terms
14.1 Purchase or use of a ticket constitutes acceptance of these Terms & Conditions.
14.2 These Terms may be updated at any time. Updated versions will be published on the official Guiseley Sounds website.
